Curry is always a strong smell, but I can't even describe the smell after it slow cooks for hours. It's been a week, I've scrubbed every surface in my kitchen, and I've washed every dish in the cabinets near the slow cooker but the smell persists. If leftover cooking smells bother you at all, do not make this recipe.

O.M.G. This recipe is AMAZING! I saved it months ago and finally made it tonight. I must admit that with hardly any ingredients and the ease of throwing it all in the crockpot, I was skeptical that it would taste like authentic curry. I should mention that I LOVE curry, have eaten it at many fine Indian restaurants and consider myself a curry connoisseur. Also, I have been cooking for over 20 years and made countless recipes with far more ingredients and 4 times the prep and this curry has more flavor than most of them. My husband and two young children said it's amazing so I will be adding this one to my favorites list. Don't wait as long as I did to make this. I plan to make it for company the next time. They will surely be impressed!
