Quote from my husband,"On a scale from 1 to 10, this is a 12!"I made a few changes,but not enough to change the original recipe. I used one can of Bush's seasoned chili beans and a can of northern beans. Instead of the seasoning the recipe suggested,I added *********'s original chili seasoning packet. I also added cumin. I used one cup of Safeway medium salsa and 1/2 cup of mild salsa. Also,because it wasn't specific,I put the chicken in raw,breasts instead of thighs. Turned out awesome. Was a little thick,so I added 1/2 can of chicken broth at the end. Printed recipe and will be ****** again.

Made this on my lunch hour for dinner tonight. 5 out of 5 (imcludes me) said make it again, which NEVER happens. Only "changes" I made because i wanted to be sure there was enough was used 19 oz jar of medium salsa, whole 10 oz bag of frozen corn and 2 whole chicken breasts, not sure what that equals in cups. Oh and also used can of black beans instead of the light red (only because thats what I had on hand) along with the dark red. I saw some of other reviews that said no flavor, think using the medium salsa may have made the difference.

I did like that it was lower-sodium using the no-salt tomato sauce, although there is still a good amount of sodium in the salsa. My husband and I both agreed that while the flavor was good, it was 'missing something'. I think next time I'll add about 1 TBSP. cumin and 1/2 - 1 tsp. garlic powder to round out the flavor. We had corn bread with ours, which was good. It might also be tasty served over rice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I highly recommend this recipe! I highly recommend this recipe! It was extremely quick and easy to put together, and the ingredients were all items I keep on hand anyway. I did exchange a can of black beans for the dark kidney beans, and I loved the results! This chili is not only healthy, but is delicious and looks beautiful when served. My entire family loved it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just made this again last night and it was just as good as the first time. Just made this again last night and it was just as good as the first time. It's easy to throw together, and you can easily tweak it to what you have in your pantry - I've used different beans, add extra corn, used chicken breasts, and tomato soup, and it still came out fantastic. Even my increasingly picky 5 year old loves this, and I love coming home to a filling, warm meal. Left-overs freeze and reheat very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! Excellent! This was so simple, my kids were able to put the ingredients together and "make dinner." We thought 2T of chili powder was a bit much and gave a little too much of a kick for those of us who don't love spicy foods, but I added about 1/4c of sour cream to cut back on it. VERY simple, made a ton, tasted great! Would be great mixed with brown rice and turned into burritos with leftovers. :o)

I had to read the reviews before I decided to make the chili-took the advice from others and added creole seasoning (garlic, green onions, parsley, celery, yellow onions). I also added a couple of jalapeno, and pinto beans in chili garlic/onion powder. I know sounds alot, but it was delicious. My husband loved it and I would do it again-slow cooker-you can not beat that....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yum! Yum! BEST Chicken Chili ever! Chunky chicken is so much better than ground - retains its flavor and texture while absorbing the spices. I thought 2Tbsp chili powder would be too much, but took a chance with it and it was just right. I didn't have frozen corn so used 1 can Mexican corn and it was great. Will definitely make again - family loved it.
