  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add meat; cook 4 to 5 min. on each side or until browned on both sides. Transfer meat to slow cooker.
  • Mix cranberry sauce, dressing and soy sauce; pour over meat. Cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW 4 to 5 hours. Remove meat from slow cooker, reserving liquid in slow cooker. Cover meat to keep warm. Whisk remaining ingredients in small bowl until blended; stir into liquid in slow cooker. Cook, covered, on HIGH 10 min. or until thickened.
  • Slice meat; place on platter. Drizzle lightly with sauce. Serve with remaining sauce.

Food Facts

When cooking a pork roast in a slow cooker, it is best to use a wide flat roast since it both fits better in most slow cookers and is less likely to overcook.

Note

For best results, do not cook the meat on the HIGH heat setting.

Special Extra

For easy cleanup, line slow cooker with plastic liner bag before filling with ingredients and cooking as directed.

Perfect, moist and sauce was awesome: I bought a 2.57 lb rib-end boneless pork roast (pork loin) from Publix. Followed the browning directions and then slow cooked it at low for max 4 hours in my cheap oval Rival slow cooker. The roast was absolutely the best almost-no-fat roast I have made in a long time. The orange is important to the final flavor. Don't peek - just let it do it's thing then cover with foil while you make the sauce in the cooker. Great looking and tasting meal.

We thought the sauce was SUPERB but the meat was dry???? Don't understand that since everyone else who wrote a review said their meat was tender and moist. I will make it again but will try a differnt cut of pork or maybe chicken???

Also substituted teriyaki for soy sauce, just because I like it better! Came out beautifully tender and delicious. Think this sauce would be very good with chicken also, but we liked the pork very much, as a change. Leftovers tonite!

Love the Cranberry but next time I will just use the Cranberry Sauce mixed with BBQ Sauce instead of dressing and soy sauce. I would also just put the OJ in with the Cranberry & BBQ to cook and not make the sauce at the end. This recipe just did not have enough flavor.

The meat was very moist and the gravy had it's own unique taste. I preferred using the jellied cranberry sauce after trying both varieties. I will continue to make this recipe....it is yummy!
