  • Sprinkle meat with seasonings; place in slow cooker. Add bay leaf and water; cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours).
  • Remove meat and bay leaf from slow cooker; discard bay leaf. Shred meat with fork. Return meat to slow cooker. Add barbecue sauce; stir gently to evenly coat meat with sauce. Cook 15 min. or until heated through.

Serving Suggestion

Serve on a crusty roll with coleslaw.

How to Purchase Pork

When purchasing pork, look for meat that is moist and attractively pink; it should not look gray or red. Compared to beef, pork has very little marbling. Exterior fat should be smooth and white.
