Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this recipe with the beef, carrots, potatoes and onion in the slow cooker. I made this recipe with the beef, carrots, potatoes and onion in the slow cooker. My husband and I really liked it and I would make it again. We are big meat eaters so the portions of vegetables and gravy went way further than the beef roast. No problem, I just froze the extra gravy and vegetables separately for another meal when I cook beef again.

The meat and the vegetables turned out great, and it smelled delicious while it was cooking, but the sauce was quite spicy with a "bite" to it. I guess being from New England, I expected more of a New England flavor...beefy, but not so peppery. Sorry, won't be using this again and it makes me hesitant to try the other varities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVED this recipe. I LOVED this recipe. Super easy to make and was a big hit at my house. It was simply delicious. I was worried the meat would dry out so I added a little water (just enough to coat the bottom of the slow cooker) Can't wait to try other recipes with this sauce combinations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This turned out fantastic. This turned out fantastic. I especially loved the gravy, I have made gravy in a crock pot before with my roast but I loved the taste of this much better. Taste was great and the consistency was perfect. Will be trying another Recipe Maker tonight, chicken this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was excellent! This was excellent! Fixed it for Christmas Eve dinner. Used an eye of the round which worked wonderfully. Forgot the onions-- whoops! Cooked on low for 7 hrs. which was perfect. Next time I'll remember the onions, and may add some thick-chopped celery-- why not?
