Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was super good - I have made twice now, once with white and once with dark meat. This was super good - I have made twice now, once with white and once with dark meat. I didn't mention this to my family before they ate it - They said the 'dark' one was extra good but couldn't figure out why! I have always been a 'dark meat' girl (especially at Thanksgiving), so I already know why! also, for some reason, it tasted better over noodles than rice (maybe a texture thing?). All in all, a very yummy (easy) recipe!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I used chicken breast halves and they fell apart perfectly. I used chicken breast halves and they fell apart perfectly. I used a pound of potatoes and no peas. Needed more seasoning, maybe garlic powder. I'm on a diet so I prefer not to use the entire tub of cream cheese. Would rather try another route to season it. The taste was good, just needed it stronger. I don't salt anything, maybe salt and pepper would do the trick.

I would use the whole container of cream cheese next time and add some spices, perhaps garlic powder, pepper, seasoned salt. It cooked for 10 hours because I worked late and it was still ok, but my chicken (I used breast meat) got a bit overdone. Served it with egg noodles and some biscuits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yum! Yum!! Made it according to recipe except I substituted Kraft Philly Cooking Creme for the cream cheese and it was excellent! I did add some salt and pepper. We served it over egg noodles as it seemed to have more the consistency of stroganoff, and it was delicious. Would do that again next time I make it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of our favorite meals and I have made numerous times. This is one of our favorite meals and I have made numerous times. So easy and delicious. I always use chicken breasts not thighs, and add chicken seasoning, basil & parsley to the chicken and flour mix. We also prefer it with potatoes so I peel and quarter those and add to the stew from the start so everything is done at the end of the day and oh so tender.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy Recipe but bland After reading the reviews and people saying it was bland I decided to season the chicken with salt & pepper. I seasoned the flour with poultry seasoning, a little rosemary and garlic powder. I used boneless chicken breasts cut into 1 inch pieces. The cooking time for my crockpot was only 4 hours. I served it with noodles. I still found it to be bland. It definitely needs something, if you get the seasonings right it would be a good dish.

I added Herbs de Provence aka poultry seasoning, when adding the peas, for me that addition makes this a keeper. I served over rice, though the bisket idea seems ideal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delicious. Delicious. I added garlic powder and poultry seasoning to the flour before tossing the chicken. I think the chicken thighs(dark meat) adds flavor as well. I served with egg noodles. I will make this again!!
