Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fall off the bone delicious! I made this recipe for the 4th of July and it was a BIG hit! I made a few changes, I used the original sauce with about a cup of Coke. This was my mother-in-law's recipe and the result wss sweet and juicy. Everyone, especially my picky son, LOVED these wings. And the best part is how amazingly easy it was! Great recipe!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My family did not like the texture. My family did not like the texture. The meat had a good flavor but the skins were loose and were like chicken after it has been boiled. I should have known. This could be good for a whole chicken with the skin discarded after cooking but it doesn't work for wings, at least not for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'll rate these as good but I only found them to be okay. I'll rate these as good but I only found them to be okay. Only because for some odd reason I expected them to have more of a "fried" wing texture. Like another reviewer they are more like broiled wings. However, the sauce is really good. I added more honey than the recipe specifies. For my cooker 5 hours was a little to long and that's cooking them on low. The meat just falls off the bone. I was a little worried the sauce wasn't going to thicken but it eventually did. I will cook again but this can definitely be done in the oven a lot faster.

After reading everyones review, I decided to throw them back in the oven AFTER cooked according to the recipe. I put salt and pepper before cooking and more honey as well. Gave them 20 minutes on broiled...perfect flavor and texture. I used the sauce as gravy for on top of white rice. Love that I bake them put them in the fridge with ingredients, throw it in slow cooker in the morning and ready when I come from work. They are hot enough that all they need is crispy texture outside...20 minutes in broil and done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was very good and so easy in the crock pot. This was very good and so easy in the crock pot. Hardest part was cutting the drummy from the wing. I didn't think the 3 lbs was enough for our party of 12 people, so I has a second crock pot with the same sauce and chicken legs. very good - everyone loved them. meat fell off the bones!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great recipe! Great recipe! We all loved it. Next time, I'm going to add a touch of spice. I'm not one for hot stuff but I think just a touch of spice would be interesting. Fall off the bone tender. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious! Delicious! Only thing I can say is that I needed to add some salt at the table. My fourteen year old son and I loved them! Will make again! I used 4 lb. bag of frozen wing portions. Perfect!
