    I made this recipe and it was delicious. I changed it slightly. I didn't have onion mushroom soup so I used beefy onion. I also used 1/4 cup of red wine and 1/4 cut water instead of 1/2 cup of water. I added some extra spices such as paprika, garlic powder, crushed red pepper and fresh crushed black pepper. It was excellent!

    Easy recipe for a busy day. Unless you are really a fan of A1 sauce, I would use half or less than called for. I think a can of stewed tomatoes would be better. I used regular potatoes cut in cubes and the same with carrots. I also added a cubed turnip and of course garlic. I did not have mushroom gravy on hand, so used brown gravy mix.
