Make your slow cooker preparation even faster. Shape the meatballs and cut-up vegetables the night before. Refrigerate until ready to add to the slow cooker. Top with pasta sauce and cook as directed.

I made this with a pound of beef and a half pound of Italian sausage. I also added a can of Italian tomatoes. Turned out great.
Big hit with the neighbors. Great party food.
These turned out to be absolutely delicious. I loved the strips of green pepper in it. I did use turkey burger instead of ground beef so that they wouldn't be greasy. But, they were falling apart though as I tried to scoop them out of the slow-cooker.
