Prepare using turkey Italian sausage.
Brown sausage with onions in large saucepan; drain. Add tomatoes, peppers and tomato paste; mix well. Stir in beans and herbs. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on low heat 35 min., stirring occasionally. Serve topped with cheese.
Prepare using KRAFT Shredded Italian* Low-Moisture Mozzarella-Parmesan Cheese Blend.
Add 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper to the cooked chili along with the herbs.

I made this recipe yesterday afternoon and shared it with my friends. The only variation I had to make was the use of Great Northern beans as my grocery store did not carry the cannellini beans. It was wonderful!!! Everyone loved it and I am giving the recipe to my sister and my friend. Thank you for this recipe and thanks to other people who reviewed- I doubled the recipe and was happy I did!
Made it on a cold stormy day. It was awesome! Ate the leftovers over the next few days, while I was stuck inside waiting for snow clean-up!
