  • Mix seasonings until blended; rub onto both sides of ribs. Place half the ribs in single layer on large sheet of heavy-duty foil; wrap tightly. Repeat with remaining ribs on separate sheet of foil. Refrigerate 4 hours.
  • Heat oven to 325°F. Unwrap ribs. Reserve 1/2 cup barbecue sauce; brush ribs with remaining sauce. Bring up foil sides; double fold top and one end of each packet to seal. Add 1/4 cup water to each packet through open end. Double-fold remaining ends, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Place in single layer on baking sheet.
  • Bake 2 hours or until ribs are done. Remove ribs from foil; discard foil.
  • Heat grill to medium-high heat. Add ribs to grill; brush evenly with half the reserved barbecue sauce. Grill 15 min., turning and brushing occasionally with remaining barbecue sauce.

Serving Suggestion

Serve these tender ribs with a hot baked potato and crisp mixed green salad.

Don't have heavy-duty foil? Use a double-layer of regular foil instead.

Add 3 to 4 ice cubes to each packet instead of the water.
