Smart-Choice Parmesan Italian Pasta Bake

With fresh veggies, pizza sauce and lots of cheese, this hearty Italian pasta bake with a layer of melty Parmesan is destined to be a new family favorite.

What You Need

1-1/2
cups  whole grain pasta, uncooked
1
lb.  extra-lean ground beef
1
large  carrot, shredded (about 1 cup)
1
large  zucchini, shredded
1
 red pepper, chopped
1
can  (8 oz.) pizza sauce
1/2
lb.  (8 oz.) 2% Milk VELVEETA®, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2
cup  KRAFT Reduced Fat Parmesan Style Grated Topping

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, brown meat in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Return meat to skillet. Stir in vegetables and sauce; cook 5 min. or until vegetables are tender.

DRAIN pasta. Add to meat mixture along with the 2% Milk VELVEETA; mix well.

SPOON into 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with grated topping.

BAKE 15 to 20 min. or until heated through.
