Rated 5 out of 5 by from When I saw this recipe had spinach in the meatballs I knew I had to try it. When I saw this recipe had spinach in the meatballs I knew I had to try it. And boy am I glad I did! These were the best meatballs ever, and I even screwed up and used plain dry bread crumbs rather than the seasoned. The only complaint I had was I probably will use a bigger jar of sauce next time, because I needed a tad more, but that might be because I was too lazy to try and figure out what a half pound of spaghetti noodles was, and the box I used was 13.25 ounces or something, and that may have been too much. If I'd had more sauce it would have been plenty. But I love, love, love these meatballs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wow these were good! Wow these were good! I made minor changes, so only gave it four stars but if you want a basic meatball recipe, it will work as is. I wanted more of an Italian flavor, so added a teaspoon each of dried basil, oregano, and fennel seed, and a pinch of red pepper flakes. I also sprinkled Parmesan cheese on top before baking. They were delicious! I worried that the meat wouldn't hold together because it seemed like a lot of spinach, but it was fine. Definitely going on the favorites list.

I was a bit skeptical putting the spinach in the meatballs, since my kids don't like it but they didn't even bat an eye. They were almost done with their dinner before they even asked what was in the meatballs. A definite keeper in this house, an awesome recipe.
