This hearty, three meat stew is flavored with Zesty Italian Dressing and sauteed fresh vegetables. It's perfect for warming up on a cold winter day.

What You Need

 bone-in chicken thighs (about 2 lb.)

 onions, chopped
2
each  green peppers and red peppers, chopped
1/2
cup  KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
1
lb.  smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1
can  (28 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1
can  (14-1/2 oz.) chicken broth
1/4
tsp.  ground red pepper (cayenne)
1/2
lb.  shrimp, peeled, cleaned
6
cups  cooked rice
1/4
cup  BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1/4
cup  chopped fresh cilantro

Make It

SPRAY large saucepan with cooking spray; add chicken. Cook on medium-high heat 3 min. on each side or until lightly browned. Remove from pan; set aside. Drain.

COOK onions and peppers in dressing until tender. Add chicken, sausage, tomatoes, broth and pepper. Bring to boil; reduce heat to low. Simmer 30 min. or until chicken is cooked through.

ADD shrimp; cook 5 min. or until shrimp is opaque. Spoon over rice; top with sour cream and cilantro.

Substitute
Substitute andouille sausage for smoked sausage to give this stew a Cajun influence.
