Smoky Turkey & Black Bean Chili

Cooking the meat in bacon drippings gives this turkey and black bean chili its great smoky flavor. Top with sour cream and crumbled bacon.

What You Need

slices  OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped
1
lb.   ground turkey
1
 onion, chopped
1
 green pepper, chopped
2
Tbsp.  chili powder
2
cans  (14-1/2 oz. each) chili-style diced tomatoes, undrained
1
can  (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed
6
Tbsp.  BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
 RITZ Crackers

Make It

COOK bacon in large saucepan or Dutch oven on medium heat until crisp. Drain, reserving 1 Tbsp. of the drippings in saucepan. Set bacon aside.

ADD turkey, onions, peppers and chili powder to drippings in saucepan; cook until turkey is no longer pink, stirring frequently. Stir in tomatoes; simmer 10 min, stirring occasionally. Add beans; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.

LADLE into 6 individual serving bowls; top evenly with sour cream and reserved bacon. Serve with the crackers.

Substitute 1 Tbsp. ground cumin for 1 Tbsp. of the chili powder.
