Size Wise

Sweets can be enjoyed on occasion as part of a balanced diet but remember to keep tabs on portions.

Cooking Know-How

Make it Easy

Use a blender or food processor to quickly grind the pecans. Just be careful not to overprocess them or you'll end up with nut butter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very delicious! Very delicious! Its easy. One of my Favorite recipes. I shaped cookies in a ball and placed them in the fridge for 5 min. to keep them a little firm. I then popped it in the Oven 350F pre set timer for 20 min. I rotated the cookies when it was about 10 min so it could bake evenly. Turned out Perfect! My Family loves it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS RECIPE IS DELICIOUS! THIS RECIPE IS DELICIOUS! I DIDN'T MAKE THE COOKIES INTO A BALL, I JUST FLATTENED THEM INTO A REGULAR COOKIE SHAPE. I WAITED UNTIL THE COOKIES WERE COOLED BEFORE DUSTING WITH POWDERED SUGAR, BECAUSE THE SUGAR WILL MELT. I ALSO DIDN'T REFRIGERATE THE DOUGH BEFORE PUTTING THEM ON THE COOKIE SHEET. VERY TASTY!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These cookies were easy to make and taste great. These cookies were easy to make and taste great. I used 1/2 butter and 1/2 margerine, so they didn't stay round like balls. Also, though I used a small round 1' scoop, I was lucky to get 5 dozen cookies. This is a good recipe, but be careful if you have to get a certain number of cookies baked!

Even though mine looked more like melted Florida snowballs (which is appropriate since that's where I live), there were a big hit! I even threw in some colored sugar (just a bit of blue) to give it a shimmering look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have made this for over 25 years. Have made this for over 25 years. My Mom presses the cookies with a fork dipped in powdered sugar and makes it easier to control browning and we do not refrigerate the dough before placing on cookie sheets.
