Snowman-on-a-Stick

I have not made this yet but I plan to. This is a very cute idea. I am planning to have cookies & milk night cap following my kids' musical coming up and the idea was to have hot cocoa and cookies. Theme for the night is winter wonderland so these are going to be really cool. I can't wait! Thanks, Krafts foods for helping me out.

i liked this recipe a lot, a few suggestions though, i used a skewer instead, more stable. also i couldn't find chocolate wafter, so i used a 100 calorie oreo and because there is a hole, it fit in the top of the skewer. how do you keep them fresh though? <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Wendy ~ The Snowman-on-a-Stick is meant to be eaten right away, not to be stored. Found the peanut butter to be too heavy we ended up using frosting we used a vanilla wafer for the hat and a dab of frosting to hold it on top! I put the snowmen into a contaner all together and used it as a centerpiece on the kids tables needless to say they didnt stay together they were gone in no time whatsoever!Happy Holidays from my kitchen to yours!

very cute idea, when I went to make it and the peanut butter would not hold the hat on. The hat was very heavy with the peanut butter cup.

Made these for a Christmas Party and they were a hit!

I have not made this recipe yet. It is so creative!! It is probably a little messy ,but what a great idea!

Instead of using peanut butter to attach the hat, I melted a few chocolate chips and then refrigerated the hats to harden. Then I used more melted chocolate to attach them to the snowmen. If you have to transport them punch a small hole in the side of a ziploc bag and put the stick through it. I made it for my son's school and it was a hit.

i have not made this yet, but come christmas, i will be passing these out to all my friends at school as a cute, simple gift. and to my much closer friends, i could give them something else, then add this in with it. to make it much cleaner, here's a tip. take a xsmall zip-lock bag and cut off the seal, then slide the snowman in the bag, then seal up the open end with a twisty, then, if desired, add a little ribbon to it to make it more pretty.

I made 25 snowmen for my son's class project. You had to make them that day because the marshmallows and fruit roll up start to dry out. Transporation was an issue. I took a box and put holes with a screw driver the size of the lollipop stick to support them. I wrapped the box with snowman wrapping paper and scattered some marshmallows to look like it had snowed around them (it also helped keep them from falling over in transit) If you lay the snowman on the plate the hat falls off. Be prepared for sticky fingers using the peanut butter to place the decorations onto the marshmallow and hat. The kids loved them and the teacher took a picture for their class scrap book. It was worth the work to see their faces!
