Made this chicken last night for dinner and my family really loved it. This will definitely replace KFC and Popeyes.

what you need

cup crushed corn flakes

2/3

cup flour

Tbsp. salt

1/4

tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)

eggs

1/4

cup milk

lb. chicken legs or wings

1-1/2

cups oil

Make It

MIX corn flakes, flour and seasonings in shallow dish. Beat eggs and milk in separate shallow dish.

DIP chicken in egg mixture, then in corn flake mixture, turning over to evenly coat both sides.

HEAT oil to 350°F in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken, in batches; cook 15 minutes or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through, turning occasionally.

Substitute

Substitute shortening for the oil.

It was good. Though it took me forever to make. I wore my patience thin. But like I said, it is good and I will make it again (only this time I'll wait until I have a less busy schedule.)

This recipe was great and my whole family loved it...we had the cold leftovers the next day and it was still great. Will definately make it again!

i tried this recipe today for dinner and let me tell ya that I WAS A HIt! the flavor of this chicken was out of this world! i left it marinating in some italian dry seasoning the night before to give it extra flavor.EVeryone loved it! even my 9 yr old step-son, who's a big picky eater licked his plate clean,im deffinetly making this again!!!!

this came out really well, and i was a little afraid it may not! it was crispy, and the meat inside was nice and juicy. i cooked it a little longer than 15 mins though. my fiance and his grandfather loved it, i cant wait to make it again!
