Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! Wonderful! So juicy! I use colby jack cheese slices instead of the shredded chesse - less messy that way plus those who want some cheese on the top and in the middle can make it into a cheeseburger. I've never had a problem with the two burger patties falling apart. I have a little patty press and I press the two sides together in that. I also don't use as much salsa in the middle. We have made these multiple times this summer and have enjoyed them every time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We used 1 lb. We used 1 lb. ground turkey, 93% lean and they turned out great! I did not add the mayo and cheese. I mixed 3 tablespoons of salsa in with the burgers along with the taco seasoning instead of making 12 thin patties. I also added about 1/4 cup of bread crumbs to keep the burger together and soak up some of the salsa. When done, we melted Kraft Jalapeno Jack cheese slices on top. Superb! My husband and I loved them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We loved this recipe, but I reduced the amount of taco seasoning mix by half and it was perfect. We loved this recipe, but I reduced the amount of taco seasoning mix by half and it was perfect. The patties held together very well, but that was because I froze the 12 individual patties for 40 minutes before assembling (with slightly wet hands, which made it a lot easier). I used fresh spinach leaves instead of lettuce -- delicious! Make the patties large and thin; they will draw up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Kids didn't like the flavor and it didn't look very appealing either. Kids didn't like the flavor and it didn't look very appealing either. First thing it did when I tried to flip it the first time was fall apart. Trying to take it off the grill wasn't easy either because it was a crumbly mess. It was moist, and not a bad flavor for an adult, but maybe it was TOO moist. I put homemade guacamole on top to help glue it back together.

I will make this recipe again, however I think that turkey is too soft a meat to be able to mold around the cheese and salsa. I just put the salsa IN the mixture and made burgers out of the meat mixture without stuffing it. It's very difficult, for me, to stuff this soft of meat...it was too hard to mold this soft of mixture. Was very tasty my way tho!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This was okay. This was okay. It was good the first night but after that I just got tired of it. I think it had too much of the taco seasoning in it. It kinda overpowered the burger and I didn't even put the whole package in there. I also had a VERY hard time keeping the burgers together. There were a couple that weren't even salvageable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My mother made these for my 4th of July cookout and they were absolutely incredible! My mother made these for my 4th of July cookout and they were absolutely incredible! We used a basket rack for the grill because they are messy and drippy but OOOHHH SOOOO GOOD! We used mild salsa so they were not spicy but still flavorful! So if you like a little bit of a kick, use medium or hot salsa.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The burgers fell apart. The burgers fell apart. Next time we'd use bread crumbs so they didn't. Also, we could only find crumpled blue cheese and I'm not a big fan of blue cheese. Neither of us liked the salsa with the blue cheese. Maybe if I could have found the right cheeses it would have been better.
