What You Need

pkt. SHAKE 'N BAKE Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix

Tbsp. chili powder

small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 lb.)

cup KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 400ºF.

COMBINE coating mix and chili powder in shaker bag. Use to coat chicken as directed on package. Place in 8-inch square baking dish.

BAKE 20 min.

SPRINKLE with cheese. Bake 10 min. or until chicken is done (165ºF) and cheese is melted.

I would definitely do some minor tweaking before making this one again. It wasn't great, but good.

I made this recipe and made it, being conservative with the chili powder. My husband LOVED it, but it wasn't spicy enough. I make it often enough now I hardly need the recipe. I don't measure the chili powder I just eye ball it. Also I just sprinkle cheese (mexican blend) on, without measuring. Delicious!

I made this last night for my husband and I and it was really easy. One thing I changed was instead of chili powder I used Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle. I will definitely kepp this receipe on hand.

We had a guest for dinner and everyone really liked it. It's very flavorful and super easy to make. It is a little dry, however. It would probably be even better with salsa or picante sauce poured over the top after it's served. Yum!
