I have made a recipe a lot like this before and would make this too, but it has entirely too much salt per serving. That is really the only problem with this recipe. Otherwise I would rate it a Very Good. We would look for low salt versions of the tomatoes and beans. We are looking for a diet which addresses high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Started diet. Started diet. Made this recipe for myself, but my husband said it looked so good that he would like to have some. My teenage son came in and started digging in, then said I thought you were on a diet. Later I told them it was made with soy burger and they couldn't believe it. I'm making it again tonight.

I tried this recipe because I wanted a healthier alternative to our traditional chili, which we make with ground beef. While it was easy to make and tasted okay, my family still prefers our regular chili. So, next time, we will make our regular chili with the Boca crumbles instead.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Entire family did not like this chili. Entire family did not like this chili. It wasn't the soy meat. It had a very salty taste. I don't know if it was from the cumin or tomato sauce or what. Next time I will use my own recipe & try soy meat with it.
