This was so easy and such a hit at my house that I'm planning on using the sauce as a dip for pizza (the one you buy at the store and bake at home w/o any cheese on it). This is absolutely fantastic! I couldn't believe that adding one more ingredient (the Philadelphia cream cheese) to my meat sauce would make such a huge difference! I used Ronzoni Garden Delight pasta and the rich colours made an even more beautiful dish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is very close to what I make, which is close to a Bolognese sauce. This is very close to what I make, which is close to a Bolognese sauce. I added garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes to the sauce which helps the flavor. I also put a can of fire roasted tomatoes and the cream cheese in my food processor and blend until creamy (this helps to blend in the cream cheese better) and then add it to the mix. I usually let it simmer for an hour.

I made this tonight, using Kraft Neufchâtel cheese (1/3 less fat cream cheese), and used 3 ounces instead of 4. We really enjoyed it! I also added about 1/8 cup of the hot pasta water. Easy recipe too, and a twist on the standard sauce. I love easy recipes for those busy nights, or times when I don't feel like cooking. I'll make this again, thanks for a great recipe!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made this using what I normally use .. Made this using what I normally use .. ground chuck, my regular traditional flavored spaghetti sauce with wheat pasta. Although the flavor was very good it sure wasn't appetizing looking. Somehow milky spaghetti sauce just didn't cut it for my husband and I. But again the flavor was very good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It just tasted like normal spaghetti-you can't even tell the cream cheese was in there. It just tasted like normal spaghetti-you can't even tell the cream cheese was in there. Probably will not make this again as the cream cheese adds alot of fat and calories but tastes no different then if i left it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a really good sauce. This is a really good sauce. The first time I made it with spaghetti pasta; however, the second time, I used rigatoni pasta and liked it even more. I think this thick sauce is better with rigatoni. Give it a try!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I prepared this recipe for supper this evening, and I will not be keeping this recipe. I prepared this recipe for supper this evening, and I will not be keeping this recipe. To both my husband and myself, it wasn't anything special. And my husband said he likes "regular" spaghetti better.
