Sparkling Champagne Punch

Elegant but easy, this lemon-orange flavored punch gets its sparkle from ginger ale and champagne. Perfect for a brunch, luncheon or any celebration.

what you need

cups boiling water

pkg. (8-serving size) JELL-O Lemon Flavor Gelatin

cups cold orange juice

cups cold ginger ale

bottle (750 ml) champagne, chilled

Ice cubes

Make It

STIR boiling water into dry gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in juice. Cool to room temperature.

POUR into punch bowl just before serving. Add ginger ale, champagne and ice cubes.

Substitute

Substitute 2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Lemon Flavor Gelatin for the 1 pkg. (8-serving size) gelatin.

Substitute

Substitute JELL-O Orange or Sparkling Mandarin Orange Flavor Gelatin for the lemon gelatin.

Special Extra

Garnish with fresh orange slices just before serving.

This was delicious! I made this for a Christmas Eve gathering and it was a big hit. I substituted strawberry gelatin for the lemon and it turned out beautifully. Easy to make, tasty... I will definitely make this again!

I have made this punch several times. I have never used the lemon jello though. I usually use strawberry jello and usually have to make a second batch! Everyone Loves it!

I made this punch for a bridal shower and it was very good. However, not thinking, I made it the day before and refrigerated it. When I took the punch out the next day to add the champagne and ginger ale, it had gotten think (the jello). So a word of caution, go ahead and make it before serving, don't refrigerate it!!

I made this recipe the other night for a Christmas Party and I actually had to make 3 batches of it. People were just loving it. The cleaned it all out. Thanks for the great idea!

Instead of using the lemon jello, I used peach...it was delicious the combination of the peach and OJ. It taste just like a non-alcoholic beverage.
