Spiced Apple Tequila Cheese Fondue

Apple juice and tequila are the liquid ingredients in this cheddar Jack cheese fondue. It's on the spicy side—with a dash of chili powder and cayenne.

What You Need

1
cup  apple juice
1/4
cup  tequila
2
pkg.  (8 oz. each) KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese

Tbsp.  cornstarch
1
tsp.  chili powder
1/4
tsp.  ground red pepper (cayenne)

Make It

BRING apple juice and tequila to boil in large saucepan. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients.

ADD cheese mixture gradually to juice mixture, cooking and stirring after each addition until cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended.

BRING just to boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; pour into fondue pot to serve.

Cooking Know-How
If fondue becomes too thick, stir in a small amount of additional apple juice.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with assorted dippers, such as cubed crusty bread, pretzels, broccoli florets, bell pepper strips, and/or apple slices.
Substitute
Omit tequila. Increase apple juice to 1-1/4 cups.
