Rated 4 out of 5 by from I changed up the ingredients simply because we didn't have everything on hand. I changed up the ingredients simply because we didn't have everything on hand. That said, I altered the order in which the ingredients were prepared: I sauteed the chicken w/onion (chunked/sliced), dressing, and pepper sauce for five minutes. Next I added 1/4 cup of barbeque sauce and 1/4 water in addition to the extra 1/4 of dressing. For the veggie, I only had water chestnuts, which I added with the pineapple chunks. I brought all of this to a boil and simmered for a few minutes. Then, I added the peanuts. I served the dish over noodles. Because I like spicy, I topped my bowl with a little hot Asian chili sauce.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this dish, been making it for years. I love this dish, been making it for years. I use any kind of bagged stir-fry veggies, add extra broccoli and any other veggie I have on hand, either canned or fresh pineaple works great. I do cook the chicken first, remove it to cook the veggies, then stir the chicken back in. I also coat the chicken in corn starch first to thicken up the sauce. Put in the pineapple last, stir in enough Sriracha to make my eyes water, and top with peanuts. Everyone loves it!

I loved how easy this recipe was, and I agree with others that extra hot sauce and crushed red pepper flakes are a must. I didn't defrost the frozen veggies before cooking and used light dressing and the sauce was rather water-y and bland, so we added more light dressing to each individual serving and that gave it much more flavor. Next time I will try cooking the chicken before the veggies and see if that makes a difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from yummy, yummy, yummy....can't wait to make this again! yummy, yummy, yummy....can't wait to make this again!! My husband loved the flavor and crunchiness of the peanuts, I could do without them. Used white rice because that's what I had on hand, will use the brown rice next time to bring the calories back to where it should be.
