Rated 5 out of 5 by from I didn't stick to the recipe completely. I didn't stick to the recipe completely. My family doesn't do dill. I doubled the recipe and used a quarter teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning and some finely chopped chives. I also served with lemon curls made from the skin of one lemon. My grown children tested samples for taste and added fresh cracked pepper. We then doubled it again and everyone at the cookie swap loved them.

I liked the idea and look of these (although some red peppers and some green onion may have added more flavor and color), however they were pretty bland. The pita seemed to take over and you really missed the taste of the crab. If you want to try these I would add...green onion, red peppers or tomatoes, and maybe brush some italian dressing on the pita for flavor.

I doubled the recipe used a mix of can crab meat and imitation crab meat. I also added red onion to give it a little more flavor and used Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Everyone loved them at Thanksgiving for an appetizer!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I loved the look of this recipe and the convenience but they tasted very bland. I loved the look of this recipe and the convenience but they tasted very bland. I would not serve these again unless something else was added. Green onion, red peppers or even substitute Mayo with something a bit more tangy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great quick & easy appetizer. A great quick & easy appetizer. I couldn't find the mini pitas, so I bought whole wheat tortillas and added dill to the mixture to make roll ups, then sliced into 1 inch pieces. It was a hit at our football party.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We loved this. We loved this. Perhaps it is too spicy for some. Maybe just a drop of hot sauce would be for them. We loved it and didn't think it was too hot.
