was ok....is basically shrimp and grits. Actually prefer the consistency of grits instead of pureed hominy. Must be a texture issue for me! Sometimes changing the old to make it new is not such a good thing.
This was a delicious meal. The mashed hominy was similar to grits with cheese. I skipped the celery and bacon, added two teaspoons of cajun seasoning, black pepper, and crushed red pepper. I also added some water to the sauce because it was too thick.
