My husband abhors cucumbers, so we sliced some tomatoes and used green onions in place of chives. I loved it! Will make this again, but probably just for myself.
It was good, but be careful about how much lemon juice you add. I think I added too much and it gave the sandwich an odd flavor. Otherwise, it was tasty.
