  • Mix all ingredients except crackers; spoon into 2- to 2-1/2-cup casserole.
  • Bake 15 to 20 min. or until heated through.
  • Serve as a spread with the crackers.

Special Extra

This spread tastes great with the rosemary and olive oil woven wheat crackers! For more flavor, add 1 chopped clove garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder to the spinach mixture before baking.

Some of my guests (vegetarians) enjoyed it, but I and others thought it was very boring and blah. I think that if you added a block of cream cheese rather than cottage and feta, it would be better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing... Disappointing... even after "doctoring" it up with black olives, etc. The feta taste was great, but still wasn't a big hit at the party. Make sure that your spinach is drained and patted as dry as you can get it. I may try this again and keep doctoring it up.
