I don't have a rating for this yet...it just looked good and I am going to make for an after lacrosse game. My question is, is this a recipe that ginger ale or lemon lime soda can be substituted for water or would that not work for this.i am making this Wednesday night so I really don't expect to get any replies back before then but, you ever know! Thanks if anyone has any experience with this or opinions.

I don't understand why this recipe has a 5 star rating because the only thing that was great about the Mosaic Dessert Bars was jello. The mixture (Sweetended Condensed Milk, Water (Hot and Cold), and gelatine packs) was disgusting. The kids took one bite and ask to only cut out the jello and eat that. Very Very Disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this for a graduation party. I made this for a graduation party. All the teenagers and little ones loved it. Got at least 5 requests from adults for the recipe. Easy to make but takes a little chilling time. Poured in condensed milk mixture a little too warm. Melted colors a bit but it looked like confetti in the white areas so still looked great!

Me and my 9 year old twin boys made this recipe and it was fun to make, not to mention easy. We actually used 6 oz jello packets, as they were on sale for less than the 3 oz, we used half the cubes and saved the rest for snacks later. I would highly recommend doing this recipe with your kids, they will love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very pretty dessert or even a side dish for a cookout. Very pretty dessert or even a side dish for a cookout. The condensed milk gave it a little bit of a creamy flavor, similar to melted ice cream. Together with the jello, it's really a fun dessert.
