Tap or click steps to mark as complete

  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Combine tomatoes, dressing and 1/2 tsp. steak sauce.
  • Mix meat, onions and remaining steak sauce; shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) oval patties.
  • Grill patties 4 to 5 min. on each side or until done (160°F); top with 2% Milk Singles. Add bread, cut-sides down, to grill. Grill 1 min. or until Singles are melted and bread is lightly toasted.
  • Fill bread with cheeseburgers; top with tomato mixture.

Substitute

Substitute KRAFT Barbecue Sauce for the steak sauce.

How to Shape Burgers

Use a fork to shape the burgers rather than your hands. They'll be juicier and less compacted after cooking.

Other than that, it was very tasty...almost tasted like meatloaf. The tomatoes were a hit! I'll definitely be making them for other dishes. Everyone was just eating them on the side like a salad. I also added a little bit of onion to that as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So yummy! So yummy! My DH is an avid hunter, so we used venison in place of the ground beef and he actually asked me if I had used beef instead of venison ~ you could not even tell the difference! We used cheddar slices instead of American and instead of a baguette used English Muffins. Also, used another reviewer suggestion and added breadcrumbs. So good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! YUMMY! My 3 year old daughter even ate this and she is not crazy about hamburger meat. She ate 3/4 of hers. We thought she was gonna explode! I will be making this again for sure! We called them crabby patties (from spongebob cartoon) because it has a secret ingrediant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very tasty! This was very tasty! I made with a side of pasta salad and it went over well! I too used toasted buns, because I already had some, but other than that I followed the recipe. I would recommend doubling the tomato/Miracle Whip/A1 mixture to top the burgers with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from very tasty, however, I had a hard time keeping the patties together. very tasty, however, I had a hard time keeping the patties together. The hamburger meat kept falling apart on and off the grill. Love the bread. Next time I will add bread crumbs or something to help hold the meat together.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would only change two things next time. I would only change two things next time. I like onion, but these were really onion-y even with half the onion called for. Next time I will either use regular burger buns or cut the loaf pieces thinner. Too much bread

Rated 4 out of 5 by from in my opinion the baguette did not need to be toasted. in my opinion the baguette did not need to be toasted. toasting makes a hard bread way harder. it wasnt much better than a regular cheeseburger. the meat over powers the taste of a great bread.
