  • Clean carrots; cut diagonally into very thin slices.
  • Heat dressing in wok or large skillet on high heat. Add carrots; cook and stir 2 min.
  • Add water. Reduce heat to medium-high; cook an additional 9 to 10 min. or until carrots are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.

Special Extra

Garnish with a light sprinkling of toasted PLANTERS Nuts, such as Sliced Almonds, Walnut Pieces or Pecan Pieces just before serving.

Substitute

Substitute KRAFT Classic CATALINA Dressing for the KRAFT Italian Dressing and/or broth for the water.

I cooked them for almost 15 minutes to get them somewhat crisp tender and even then they were still very undercooked. I eventually had to cover them to allow them to steam. The flavor was nothing spectacular. There is nothing like fresh steamed carrots tossed with butter, salt and fresh herbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use this as a side on a VERY regular basis! I use this as a side on a VERY regular basis! So easy and very good! I use baby carrots instead of the regular carrots sliced. I usually cook mine a little longer, closer to 20 minutes.
