When I proposed the recipe idea to my husband, he didn't think this would be a good meal. He kept trying to talk me out of ****** it. But, I made it anyway. I added my own spices of paprika (hot), basil, parsley, garlic, sage and salt. I also used half the sour ***** recommended and added some milk instead, to make it creamier. I also used ***** of chicken mushroom soup instead, to give it more depth. It was also extremely easy and fast to make. I usually spend about an hour ****** dinner, so a fast meal was nice. After I made the meal, my husband couldn't stop eating it! The meal turned out much better than I expected. But, I think my changes helped.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was a really good dinner. This was a really good dinner. I made this with Healthy Request Cream of Chicken, lower sodium stuffing and a bag of steam-able broccoli/cauliflower. I was trying to make something healthy, until they suggested cheese in the video :) I found some odds and ends that needed to be used up, about 3 ounces each of sharp white cheddar slices and Monterey Jack cubes. The sharpness of the cheddar added a rich savory flavor, while Jack added a nice creaminess. I served this with a spinach/spring mix salad, cold cranberry sauce and iced tea. PS I threw my veg in a 1100 watt m-wave for about 3:30 seconds. I had to drain off water and press them before adding them to the casserole.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I used a rotisserie chicken from the store. I used a rotisserie chicken from the store. It made it even easier. Good flavor. The kids and my hubby enjoyed it and it was even better the next day....flavors had a chance to infuse together. I did double the veges and stuffing since previous reviews stated that there wasn't enough stuffing for this dish and you can't go wrong with too many veges. I also added in some white wine for another layer of flavor. I did not have to bake it as long since my chicken was already cooked...just enough to warm everything and let the flavors mix together.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I've made this recipe twice now... I've made this recipe twice now... once according to my own tastes, once according to the recipe, varied only for spices. The first time I left the sour cream and veggies out but added salt, pepper and lowery's season salt because of the bland warnings - WE LIKE SPICES. It was good. The second time I made it as directed, aside from adding salt, pepper and lowery's season salt (with cheese as suggested by the video). I liked it better the first time, my family liked it better the second time. I think the sour cream is a weird taste, personally. I feel like it needs more veggies to have some balance... there also is not enough stuffing to top a large casserole dish - beware the size of dish you use. I think next time, I will double the veggies, double the stuffing and I will finally like it as much as my family does. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My super picky family devoured this meal! My super picky family devoured this meal! I did tweak it a bit after reading some other reviews. I cut the raw chicken into chunks, added some garlic powder, pepper, salt, and marinated it in the fridge for about 20mins. I added an extra spoonful of sour ***** and a handful of shredded colby ******************************** stuffing that it calls for, but it was a stretch to cover the entire top in a 13x9 cake pan. Next time I'll use two boxes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I tried this recipe because I had some stuffing to use up. I tried this recipe because I had some stuffing to use up. I was pleasently surprised with the results. I don't usually make recipes with convenience ingredients like boxed stuffings, potatoes, etc but I will keep this recipe around if I need to make something quick or easy. It would probably be a great recipe for my husband to make on the nights I'm working.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We enjoyed this meal. We enjoyed this meal. After reading many reviews prior to making this I chose to do the following: cut the chicken into bite size & seasoned it with garlic, lemon pepper & onion powder, doubled the sour cream, then mixed the chicken in with the sour cream/soup. Baked for 30 minutes and it was perfect! Will do this again!

Instead of using raw chicken and worrying about it being "done" in 40 min., I have used leftover rotisserie chicken breast or canned chicken breast (rinsed) to speed things up. I cook the veggies a bit and I bake it for only 20-25 minutes or until bubbly.
