Rated 5 out of 5 by from I found this recipie on a Stove Top box the first time. I found this recipie on a Stove Top box the first time. Excellent! Great for a quick meal that looks and tastes like you spent hours! To cut fat & calories, I substitute fat-free sour cream and use half the amount of butter specified. No taste difference and much better for you! I also use Cream of Chicken soup as I don't care for the flavor of Cream of Mushroom. You can use either StoveTop Chicken or Cornbread stuffing for wonderful results. To use as a PotLuck dish (where everyone samples small portions), dice up the chicken breasts for easier serving (and to make sure everyone gets some chicken in each bite).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I make this often cuz it contains things I often have in the house. I make this often cuz it contains things I often have in the house. I double it though cuz i have 4 kids and myself and husband. The one thing I did differently is that I cut the chicken into pretty small pieces, someone said it doesnt cook and I have NEVER had that problem! And I spoon about half the cream of mushroom and sour cream mixture over the chicken, enough to cover it and then I mix half the stuffing mix in with the leftover half of sauce, I then layer that on top of the chicken and then I lay the leftover dry stuffing mix over it (well not dry but the stuff not mixed in with the sauce) That makes it even more moist for me and not so crunchy but you still get some crunch. Hmm hope that makes sense! I will continue to make this! Very easy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good! Very good! I tweaked it a bit by using Chicken Broth instead of water for the stuffing...same amount as called for. I also used 1 c. of Sour Cream and added some diced onion...about 3/4 c. I added an 8 oz. can of sliced mushrooms and doubled the Mushroom Soup to 2 cans...we are big mushroom lovers. I added 3/4 c. shredded cheddar to the soup and sour cream mix. I baked uncovered for 40 minutes, lightly peppered it after serving, and it was delish!! Will definitely make again...and again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a very quick and easy meal to make. This was a very quick and easy meal to make. My family enjoyed it immensely. I did however cut the chicken into bite size pieces and then seasoned the chicken first with a little salt, pepper, garlic powder and poultry seasoning before adding the soup/sour cream mixture and stove top stuffing mix. To cut calories and make the dish a little healthier I substituted low fat sour cream and low sodium cream of mushroom soup. I have made this recipe several times for not only my family but also friends and co-workers and have received rave reviews every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a must for busy moms who don't want to skimp on cooking a real dinner! This is a must for busy moms who don't want to skimp on cooking a real dinner!! I am a mother of 4 kids, and I love this recipe! It is so simple (and fast) to make. My whole family loves it - there are never any leftovers. Even my 4 year old loves it! I like it with Cream of Chicken soup better. I don't use any butter when I prepare it and I have used both the milk and sour cream - both are just as good. I wish every dinner was this simple and delicious!! I serve it with a side of green beans or applesauce and maybe some dinner rolls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this recipe! I love this recipe! It is so easy and fast, which is important in my house. A few things that I have tweaked are that I cut up the chicken into bite size pieces and season with garlic pepper, onion powder, salt and pepper. Then I cook it in a pan before putting it all together- I find precooking reduces the wateriness of the dish. I also use cream of chicken- i dont care for cream of mushroom. Over all this is a great recipe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Great! Absolutely Great! I used some of the tips in the previous reviews and it turned out great. My picky niece was visiting and she even ate it and she doesn't like very much. She wants me to have her over the next time I make it. My whole family loved it. It was quick and easy especially if you are pressed for time. I do suggest cutting the chicken breast into bite size pieces. It cooked evenly and I don't think if they were whole they would have cooked as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've been making this recipe for years but I switch things up a bit. I've been making this recipe for years but I switch things up a bit. I halve the amount of chicken & add ham (just a small hamsteak) chopped up into bite sized pieces. I top the sour cream & soup mixture with thawed mixed vegetables (the frozen "Vegetable Melange" from Trader Joe's works really well.) Then I put finely shredded cheddar cheese & bread crumbs on top & cover it with foil before putting it in the oven. Always a favorite & comes out awesome every time!
