I made the bacon mushroom variation and loved it! I don't usually like a lot of "add ins" in my usual stuff, but this was a nice change up. I brought the leftovers to work and everyone thought I was some gourmet genius...no, I'm not kidding! This is an excellent side dish. I can't wait to try the apple raisin recipe!
I made the mushroom and bacon stuffing, and it was awesome. I actually added a bit of parlsey to balance out all the seasonings that already come in the Stove Top. Making stuffing with broth is a wonderful idea. It adds flavor just like making rice with broth. I'd love to try to apple raisin stuffing, but my family is not big on savory-fruity mixes. In any case, the mushroom and bacon was delicious.
I made the one with orange juice and dried cranberries for Easter and it turned out great. My whole family loved it. Next I'm going to try the apple version.
