For the flavors of strawberries and cream in a treat that serves 12, serve up this luscious dessert made with ladyfingers and whipped topping.

What You Need

pkg.  (3 oz.) soft ladyfingers, split
cups  strawberries, divided
cups  boiling water
pkg.  (1 oz. each) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Sugar Free Gelatin
cups  ice cubes
tub  (8 oz.) COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping, thawed

Make It

TRIM 3/4 inch from ends of ladyfingers; place ends on bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Stand remaining ladyfingers around side of pan, with cut sides facing in. Reserve 2 strawberries for garnish; mash remaining strawberries.

ADD boiling water to gelatin mixes in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add ice cubes; stir until melted. Add COOL WHIP and mashed strawberries; stir gently with whisk until blended. Refrigerate 10 min. or until mixture is thick enough to mound. Spoon into prepared pan.

REFRIGERATE 3 hours or until firm. Remove side of pan. Garnish dessert with reserved strawberries.

How to Mash Strawberries
Crush strawberries with a potato masher. Or, process, using pulsing action, in a food processor until finely chopped.
How to Prepare in 9-inch Cake Pan
Line 9-inch round pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over edge of pan. Prepare dessert as directed. To remove dessert from pan, carefully lift out of pan onto serving plate using foil handles. Peel away and discard foil.
