Strawberry Freeze

Fresh berries in and on whipped, chilled cream cheese would have been enough. But no. We're upping the ante with a chocolate chip cookie crust. Pure heaven.

What You Need

CHIPS AHOY! Cookies

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/2

cup sugar

can (12 oz.) frozen berry juice concentrate, thawed

cup crushed strawberries

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

cups whole strawberries, cut in half

Make It

ARRANGE cookies in single layer on bottom of 9-inch springform pan.

BEAT cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Gradually beat in juice concentrate. Stir in crushed berries. Whisk in COOL WHIP until well blended. Pour over cookies in pan.

FREEZE 6 hours or until firm. Remove from freezer 15 min. before serving; let stand at room temperature to soften slightly. Top with berry halves.

I used Oreo cookies as the crust (split in half and put a double layer)! Very easy recipe and everyone loved it!

I made this for a get-together and it got rave reviews. It was refreshing and light with great strawberry flavor. The best part was it was so easy! I love that kind of recipe!

Big Hit! Everyone Loved it. It would be good to crush the cookies and have the cookie crums in the bottom so that there is an even base. Great for the summer

I loved this dessert! I made it for my daughters baby shower. Everyone wanted the recipe. I changed the strawberries to mixed berries and the coolwhip to a small carton of whipped cream sweetened. Served it with fresh berries spooned over the top and a dollop of whip cream.

instead of just laying the cookies on the bottom of the pan, i crushed them and mixed in some butter then pressed it into the pan to create a crust. i agree with others that it sometimes tastes like your biting into ice, and you need to keep it frozen! definitely a crowd pleaser, esp in hot weather!
