Strawberry Jam Bars

I made this twice and brought it in for my coworkers to try it. They all love it!

Excellent! My family really enjoyed these bars, I think I might try them next with a blueberry jam or pie filling.

These were delicious, perfect for breakfast. I used Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds. I am going to try a different jam flavor next time and may even used a different cereal!!

Yummy, quick, and moist!

This is a great recipe because you are able to do some ingredient substituting and it still comes out great! Like Blackberry Jam instead of Strawberry and Strawberry cream cheese instead of regular cream cheese. I also used another kind of cereal and it worked out well.

It was a hit for my family of 15 at our Christmas party. Easy to make; sweet-tasting-finger-food dessert!

Contrary to previous posters, I had no problems whatsoever with the crust consistency or getting them out of the pan. I followed the directions to a T, and they came out looking exactly like the picture! Very presentable when cut into triangles as pictured. They are absolutely INCREDIBLE. I made a second batch this evening - the first batch went as gifts. As to be expected, they are a bit crumbly because that's just what happens with the cereal. Do be sure to let them cool COMPLETELY before cutting and use your sharpest knife to get all the way through the crust without mutilating them. So good that I'd give them 6 stars if I could! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! :)

While the bars taste good, they did not look like the picture and they were a bear to get out of the pan.

So Easy and a hit with everyone. I am making them again today.
