Strawberry Parfait Pie

What You Need

1-3/4

cups boiling water

pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin

pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

1-1/2

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided

HONEY MAID Graham Pie Crust (6 oz.)

cups quartered fresh strawberries

Make It

ADD boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir with whisk 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in dry pudding mix until well blended.

STIR in 1 cup COOL WHIP; pour into crust.

REFRIGERATE 3 hours or until set. Top with strawberries and remaining COOL WHIP just before serving.

I love the idea of this recipe. I originally found this on another site that used 2 small boxes of sugar free strawberry jello, 2 small boxes of vanilla sugar free cook and serve pudding and 2 cups of water. I sliced strawberries and lined the pie pan and didn't use a crust.

horrible and I typically love anything with strawberries but wouldn't waste my time making this again. I made it exactly like the recipe said and it is way too gel-like for me.

This 'pie' was an absolute presentation nightmare! When I attempted to cut it all the strawberries on top fell off. Adding vanilla pudding to the strawberry Jello diluted the strawberry flavor and made the the pie pretty bland.

Great Success!!!! The pie was a big hit at our 4th of July party. It went so quick and everyone said it was the best. I did add extra strawberries because of other comments saying not enough strawberry favor. But I will make it again.

The pie tasted like sticky jell-o and did not taste the pudding or cool whip. Followed the directions as listed, but I would not make again. Tasted like rubber after it sat while.

We made the pie as directed the first time but were disappointed in the lack of strawberry flavor. We made the pie again but added two boxes of sugar free strawberry jello instead of one, and this was just what the pie needed.

I used the larger size graham cracker pie shell and also used the Sugar Free Jello&Pudding and Sugar Free Cook Whip. Everyone loved it!

this looks good, haven't made it yet. Store bought crust is good and what I usually use, although, homemade is better. I wouldn't give a recipe a one-star just because it says it will serve 10. Everyone knows how many their 8-in pies will serve, depends on the size of the slice you serve. Some families want small pieces and some want large. My family would get 8 pieces,others would get 4. That has nothing to do with the quality of the pie. I will try it and review it again at that time.

I can't believe that this would ever serve 10! Has anyone tried to cut an 8" pie into 10 pieces? The most I've gotten is 8, and they are pretty skimpy to serve others.
