what you need

cups chopped strawberries

cup cold water

cups boiling water

pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin

Make It

PLACE strawberries and cold water in blender container; cover. Blend on high speed until smooth.

STIR boiling water into combined dry gelatin mix and sugar in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Add strawberry mixture; mix well. Pour into 9-inch square pan. Freeze 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until ice crystals form 1 inch around edges of pan.

SPOON half of the gelatin mixture into blender container; cover. Blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth; pour into bowl. Repeat with remaining gelatin mixture. Add to blended gelatin mixture in bowl; mix well. Return to pan.

FREEZE 6 hours or overnight until firm. Scoop into dessert dishes to serve. Store leftover sorbet in freezer.

This is my third time making this and every time I make it my family gets excited. I used frozen strawberry. I didn't leave the mixture in the freezer overnight because it gets really hard. So I just mixed it in the morning, went back am 1 hour and 1/2 later to mixed it,put it back in the freezer, and it was ready by dinner time. It was not too hard.

GAH! this tasted good but it is a pain to get out of the pan. i let it sit overnight in the freezer but i dont think that was the reason it turned out so hard. and it tasted a lot like the jello. might make this again but not leave it in so long. good luck <3

Very good!! Although the sides get pretty tough and hard to peel out of the pan!! Blend it a couple more times to prevent that!! Yummy Yummy Yummy

It was good, but it was frozen solid. We had to cut it with a knife, and it bent the knife.

I made this with my kids this summer. We used a frozen and thawed out bag of strawberries. We substituded the juice from the berries instead of all of the water to give it more flavor! I like that it didn't take long to make [minus the freezer time] and it didn't take many ingredients. It was hard when we removed it but we just let it set at room temp. for a while and it was fine. I used a metal melon baller to serve it which the kids thought looked cool!!

My daughter is highly alergic to all milk products so she can not enjoy ice cream. Now I can make her sorbet that is easy and delicious. It didn't take long at all and she got to help me make it. I can not wait to try different flavors.

This is excellent!! I made it with fresh strawberries first, then tried it with fresh peaches and peach gelatin. It is delicious!!
