  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Chop 20 cookies; set aside. Finely crush remaining cookies.
  • Prepare cake batter as directed on package. Add sour cream; mix well. Stir in chopped cookies; pour into 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Combine cookie crumbs, nuts, coconut, brown sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl; stir in butter until blended. Sprinkle over batter.
  • Bake 40 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.
  • Mix powdered sugar and milk until blended; drizzle over cake. Let stand until glaze is firm.

I also made it as a birthday cake for my 5-year old nephew and he fell in love with his birthday cake. The only part I did not enjoy was the fact it has oat meal. Try the cake with no oatmeal and it tastes teriffic!

I made the cake with a few modifications...used a basic yellow cake recipe instead of cake mix,flavored it with freshly brewed coffee,omitted the topping...it turned out swell.Served it with tea at a gathering and everyone loved it.Will make it again over the weekend for my family.
