The sun was shining today in Michigan and although we had lots of snow we decided to grill steaks on the grill. I entered "STEAKS" in the search on this site, and the following recipe came up. It sounded so good, we decided to give it a try !!!! WOW< we are so glad we did. It is wonderful!!! We thought it would be great on slices of beef roast or even hamburger steaks!!!! I doubled the sauce part, the A1 and wine, just so we would have extra sauce, it is outstanding. I also added 1 small can of mushrooms well drained. We are looking forward to making it and serving it to guests this summer when we do steak cookouts !!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh awesome! Oh awesome! Delectable, ridiculously easy, and fast. A dry red wine is essential, such as Cabernet Sauvignon for the sauce. Next time I'm throwing fresh mushrooms in to saute with the garlic and onions. Kudos to Kraft Foods on this one!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This recipe wasn't bad. This recipe wasn't bad. I would use a more upgraded steak than just strip steak. if you use strip steak, marinate it in the red wine. it was pretty dry. I would make this recipe again though either using a different steak or marinating it.

I'm not a fan of wine and really don't like anything cooked with it. Can the wine be subsituted with something else? Please say yes would really like to try it.

This is super easy to make and cooks quickly. I used a stovetop grill and it came out just as good. Wine is essential though.
