Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used dry onion soup mix and some italian seasonings. I used dry onion soup mix and some italian seasonings. I also used spaghetti sauce instead of tomato. For meat I used 1/2 lb of ground beef and 1/2 lb of ground venison, it's a good way to sneak it in and no one would notice. I also added shredded cheese to the meat mixture and put some on top of the peppers for the final 5 mins of baking. They turned out AWESOME!!!! I asked my boyfriend to rate them from 1 to 5 stars and he gave them a 7. lol.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My bf would give this 5+ stars, I'm giving it 4 because I think the prep can be better. My bf would give this 5+ stars, I'm giving it 4 because I think the prep can be better. I cut the tops off of the peppers and boil them in salted water until they are tender. I follow all the other directions as listed, but I think boiling the peppers first is key to them being 'done.'

Boil in salted water until tender.__I combined the tomato sauce and water and poured it over the filled peppers before cooking. I also used the onion soup mix like everyone else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made it exactly as described, and it turned out perfect. Made it exactly as described, and it turned out perfect. Husband thought it was delicious. I don't know that the dressing mix adds anything to it. I'd prefer to kick it up a bit and will try the spaghetti sauce and onion soup mix variation next time

My whole family loved them--very similar to my grandmother's recipe, but easier due to the seasoning packet. We have to double the recipe every time we make them--they are great left over. I highly recommend these for a family dinner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As a child I never really cared for stuffed peppers. As a child I never really cared for stuffed peppers. Instead of the Italian dressing mix, I also tried onion soup mix and used brown instant rice instead of white. We all loved it, even my 9 year old son who is a very picky eater.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hubby really enjoyed this dish. Hubby really enjoyed this dish. I did use spaghetti sauce and could not find the dressing mix, so I used cream of vegetable soup mix (used 1/2 the package) and Mrs. Dash for spice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Awesome! Anything I can make that the whole family loves to eat is worth making again and again! I did swap the seasoning for onion soup mix instead and I used 100% venison meat.
