Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These were so easy and very good! These were so easy and very good! I made a few minor changes. I added fresh minced garlic to ground beef when cooking and used frozen diced onions(always in my freezer, so much easier than cutting up an onion & no tears). I used spaghetti sauce instead of tomato sauce. I suggest tasting you meat mixture before stuffing peppers. I ended up adding some worcestershire sauce and salt & pepper to give it a little more flavor. Then I mixed in some grated mozzarella and chedder cheese to meat mixture. After cooking time I sprinkled more cheese on top and baked uncovered 5 more minutes. These were just as good reheated the next day. Will make again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used dry onion soup mix and some italian seasonings. I used dry onion soup mix and some italian seasonings. I also used spaghetti sauce instead of tomato. For meat I used 1/2 lb of ground beef and 1/2 lb of ground venison, it's a good way to sneak it in and no one would notice. I also added shredded cheese to the meat mixture and put some on top of the peppers for the final 5 mins of baking. They turned out AWESOME!!!! I asked my boyfriend to rate them from 1 to 5 stars and he gave them a 7. lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Wow! These are amazing! Don't use the dressing...use an onion soup mix like I did with some Italian seasoning and garlic. I used more tomato sauce than needed also and added frozen corn. I'm a new cook so I always read the reviews before I make anything. These turned out amazing! No side dish needed...or ordering pizza :) Oh...and I added hand full mozzarella cheese to meat mixture and last 10 mins of baking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These were really easy to make and they were tasty and filling. These were really easy to make and they were tasty and filling. The only thing I would do the next time that I make them would be to add some additional seasonings to bring out more flavor because it was a little bland. I was surprised because I thought that the envelope of dressing mix would give it some kick, but in my opinion it needs a little something extra added.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was my first time making stuffed peppers too. This was my first time making stuffed peppers too. I also could not find the packet of seasoning at the store, so I had to leave it out. They came out good, but fell apart when you cut into them. My mom makes them different. She told me she fills them before cooking the meat and cooks them on the stovetop. Her filling comes out more solid. But they were pretty good.

I didnt have minute rice so I just used the regular kind. My husband was a little nervous when I told him I was making these but when he tasted them he was like, "Wow!!". Im so glad I found an easy recipe with such a great taste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this for dinner and everyone loved it! Made this for dinner and everyone loved it! I'm definitly going to make it again very soon. The only thing different i'd go back and do is put more of the tomato sauce at the bottom of the pan. I definitly think it should have more. I also put cheese on the top of my peppers when they came out of the oven and everyone seemed to like that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This recipe was really good and very easy to make. This recipe was really good and very easy to make. I added seasoning to my hamburger meat while I browned it. Also I cooked it it the oven longer than recomended and the rice wasn't quite done. I would recomend cooking the rice a little longer before stuffing it into the peppers. Overall it was really good and I will make them again.
