With bread crumbs or stove top stuffing, this recipe is really easy and the stuffed mushrooms were great. I recommend melting american or velveeta cheese with the mushroom stems and stuffing, and also add crushed garlic. You will love it and the family will keep coming back for more.

I took this one to a Christmas party of bikers and they loved the crisp bite of the stuffing with the meaty tenderness of the mushrooms. I used cornbread stuffing and they were quite filling, even as a two-bite appetizer. I will definitely be making these again.

I didn't put the peppers in them because I don't like that..but they're really good without, too! I added a little onion for flavor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good! Very good! I wanted to try these out before serving them at T'giving. Since stuffing is an important part of the dinner, I added fresh sauteed spinach to cut down on the amount of stuffing. I also topped it with herbed goat cheese.
