Super Banana Bread

This super-moist banana bread is made with reduced-fat cream cheese and no-calorie sweetener, but no one will ever notice if you don't mention it!

What You Need

cups  flour
1-1/2
tsp.  baking soda
1/2
tsp.  salt
1/2
cup  (1/2 of 8-oz. tub.) PHILADELPHIA 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese
3/4
cup  granular no-calorie sweetener
3/4
cup  buttermilk
1
cup  mashed fully ripe bananas (about 3)

 eggs
1/3
cup  chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MIX first 3 ingredients; set aside. Beat reduced-fat cream cheese and sweetener in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gradually beat in buttermilk. Add bananas and eggs; mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture just until blended. Stir in nuts.

POUR into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.

BAKE 40 to 45 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 min.; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely.

Kraft Kitchens Tips

Substitute
If you don't have buttermilk, measure 2-1/4 tsp. lemon juice or white vinegar into liquid measuring cup. Add enough milk to measure 3/4 cup. Let stand 5 min. or until curdled.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with a hot cup of MAXWELL HOUSE Coffee.
How to Store
Wrap cooled bread tightly. Keep refrigerated.
