  • Prepare Dinner in large saucepan as directed on package. Stir in milk and mozzarella.
  • Spoon into 1-1/2-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with cheddar.
  • Bake 20 min. or until heated through.

Deluxe Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Bacon

Stir 10 slices cooked and crumbled OSCAR MAYER Bacon into prepared Dinner along with the milk and mozzarella.

Special Extra

Mix 1/2 cup crushed RITZ Crackers with 1 Tbsp. melted butter; sprinkle over casserole before baking. Or, sprinkle top of casserole with additional 1 cup cheddar and ground red pepper (cayenne) before baking.

I also added the Ritz on top. If you like a sauce with your Mac and Cheese, add more milk. It turned out cheesy and moist but not saucy like I prefer.

Good recipe....I added 6 strips crumbled cooked bacon and some parmesan cheese as well as the extra cheddar and put it under the broiler at the end...it made its own "crust" on top and looked so good. My kid devoured it! Will definitely make again.

Finally, a mac and cheese that is creamy and smooth, rather than lumpy and gritty. Bonus points for being easy to make!

I put sharp cheddar in it instead of the mozzarella and sprinkle cheese on top before putting in oven. It comes out so creamy and nicely bubbly brown on top. It is just wonderful.

Normally mac & cheese is not something they're crazy over, but this recipe had them coming back for seconds, thirds and fourths!! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

We absolutely love it and usually hits our table for every holiday dinner as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Out of this world. Out of this world. I followed the recipe but added steamed broccoli and 1 whole packet of the real bacon pieces. Was a hit with my 4 kids and husband. I even like it and I dont care for mac and cheese.
