What You Need

1/2

cup KOOL-AID Sugar-Sweetened Soft Drink Mix, any flavor

1-1/2

cups water

Make It

PLACE dry drink mix in 2-cup liquid measuring cup. Add water; stir until mix is dissolved.

POUR into ice cube trays lightly sprayed with cooking spray.

FREEZE 4 hours or until firm.

I have made these before. One thing thing I love to do is to make colored cubes but use the invisible Koolaid as the drink -- that way the colored cubes really stand out in the clear drink.

I add lemonade flavored cubes to my tea to give it a bit of a lemon taste. It tastes great.

Don't mix these cubes with kool-aid, they taste better with 7-up!

I agree with reducing the sugar (or splenda) I only use 3/4 cup instead of 1 cup. Otherwise it was awesome!!!

I used Splenda instead of sugar. They were excellent, but you may want to decrease the sugar a little. They were pretty sweet. WHen I decreased the amount of Splenda they tasted great and were a fun way for the kids to cool down when they came in from the barn really hot.

It is very refreshing in the summer time and I add a little lime juice which makes it even better.
