Having made many types of freezer jam before this, I think the problem I had was using frozen cherries. Even though I followed the recipe exactly, it is my thought that using fresh cherries would be preferable. since none of mine ever was able to set up, I am going to repeat the entire process, adding more sugar and another package of Sure-Jell. If this was a pie, I could add tapioca of flour to thicken, BUT, the frozen fruit requires more sugar and pectin.
