Sweet 'n Fun "Fries" recipe

Thin, crisp pound cake strips and a refreshing KOOL-AID flavored strawberry mixture create a mock fries and ketchup that kids will be sure to enjoy as a little treat.

What You Need

pkg.   (10.75 oz.) frozen prepared pound cake, thawed
cups  strawberries, stemmed
Tbsp.  KOOL-AID Strawberry Flavor Sugar-Sweetened Soft Drink Mix

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

CUT cake into 1/2-inch-thick slices, then cut each slice into 1/2-inch-wide strips; place in single layer on baking sheet.

BAKE 5 to 10 min. or until crisp and lightly browned.

BLEND strawberries and drink mix in blender until smooth; strain to remove seeds. Serve strawberry purée with cake "fries."

Fun Idea
Pour strawberry sauce into plastic ketchup dispenser. Place "fries" in small paper cups and squirt strawberry "ketchup" on top.
This refreshing sauce is equally delicious whether prepared with fresh or frozen strawberries.
