Pork spareribs are flavorful, meaty slabs of ribs that range in size from 2 to 4 lb. per slab. Pork back ribs, also known as baby back ribs, are ribs from the pork loin section. A slab of back ribs ranges from 1-1/4 to 2-1/4 lb., and tends to be leaner and less meaty than a slab of spareribs. Similar to pork spareribs, beef back ribs are much larger than pork back ribs, yet still tender and full of flavor.
Serve with smart sides, such as your favorite steamed vegetable and a crisp mixed green salad.

This actually sounds like something I could do in my crock pot. 4-5 hours in the crock pot on High with additional sauce about 3 hours in should work about as well. If they take a little longer my gang will tackle their salads to get by on until it's ready, but they'll be standing over me every time I go to the kitchen to check on progress.
I made this recipe for dinner tonight and it is delicious. Just the right mixture of flavors. My husband loved it, and he usually doesn't care for rib's baked in the oven. I took the left over sauce mixture and brushed it on the rib's before serving. I will be making this again.
